'Opportunities for a Lifetime'

The 2008 DinoMights fundraiser celebrates the many and unique opportunities that shape the lives of urban youth. From ice hockey to rock climbing; from tutoring to mentoring it every opportunity helps to develop Physical, Academic, Social, and Spiritual Excellence in urban youth. Come hear from the kids themselves about their Opportunities for a Lifetime!

DinoMights is happy to announce that the NHL will be the presenting sponsor for this year's Annual Fundraiser, Monday November 10 at International Market Square. The NHL's gift will cover the full costs of this year's event, which means that every gift at the event will go directly to DinoMights programming!

LOCATION

This year's fundraiser will be held in The Atrium of International Market Square. IMS is known as one of the premier event locations in the Twin Cities. Under the glass-roofed Atrium, we will enjoy desserts by D'Amico Catering while listening to our Dino youth share the DinoMights' story. For directions and map click here.

SPECIAL GUESTS

Over the years, the Minnesota Wild has been an enthusiastic partner of DinoMights. They have been a great support to our annual fundraisers, and we are pleased to have a Wild presence at this year's event.

In addition, courtesy of the NHL, Willie O' Ree will be our special guest at the 2008 event. On January 18, 1958 Willie O' Ree became the first Black player in the National Hockey League. Now 50 years later Mr. O' Ree works to develop diversity in youth hockey as an ambassador for the NHL Diversity Task Force.

SILENT AUCTION

One of the most exciting aspects of the evening is the Silent Auction. The Auction features event tickets from the Minnesota Wild, Gopher Hockey, etc., sports memorabilia, autographed items, gift certificates and other items.
