Greg Carroll Learn 2 Skate Volunteer
This program serves first graders from Minneapolis and St. Paul:
- In Minneapolis - Green Central, Hope Academy, and Hiawatha Leadership Academies
- In St. Paul - Riverview West Side, Maxfield, and Adams
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Assist with Greg Carroll Learn 2 Skate program, on or off the ice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend Greg Carroll Learn 2 Skate sessions.
- Off-ice volunteers will help fit equipment (helmets, skates, elbow, and shin pads) and tie skates for first graders participating in Greg Carroll Learn 2 Skate.
- On-ice volunteers will assist staff coaches on the ice, and offer additional encouragement and assistance as needed to kids, either one-on-one or in small groups.
REQUIRED:
Embody and embrace the mission of DinoMights, sensitivity to diversity and love for youth, and ability to skate (for on-ice volunteers).
OPPORTUNITY IS APPROPRIATE FOR:
Adult or Teens/Youth (Age range: 12 or older)

Volunteer Information
Volunteers may attend as few as one session or every week if desired. There are up to 60 or more students on the ice at each session, and over 270 individual volunteer spots to be filled throughout the program. See schedule below for details.
