If the Mighty Ducks movie trilogy taught us anything, it’s that the underdog should never be discounted. That, and… Gordon Bombay deserves to be in the Hockey Hall of Fame. 

Despite the challenges presented by the COVID19 pandemic, the DinoMights staff and kids battled through the year with an unrelenting determination that brought many wins and success stories. 

With social distancing, we shifted our tutoring sessions to Zoom. As expected, the transition was a little tough at first. Nevertheless, thanks to the unparalleled adaptability of our students and amazing volunteer tutors, we were able to provide one-on-one academic assistance throughout this unprecedented school year. 

Our continuity plan has only gotten stronger heading into this new year, and we have the added confidence that if 2020 couldn’t shake us, nothing can!

Furthermore, every single one of our teams was able to take the ice this year in one way or another. This was one of our primary goals at the onset of the pandemic, and we are proud of the hard work and dedication that allowed us to achieve this goal. Despite opting out of the Minnesota Hockey League, any DinoMight interested was still able to step onto the ice and participate in practices, skill clinics, and competitive in-team scrimmages, all while diligently following COVID19 protocols.  

Gordon Bombay would be proud! 

With 2020 in the rear view mirror, we look forward to setting more ambitious goals throughout the new year and continuing to provide exceptional programming for our kiddos. Our eyes and minds are focused on the upcoming season.
